The legislation, conveniently dubbed "immigration reform" is a series of laws Obama and his Progressive buddies crafted that gives ICE the power to release illegal aliens who have committed crimes, restricts law enforcement from turning over illegals who make a driving offense to ICE, and grants pretty much any illegal alien the right not be deported or even be required to attend an immigration trial.

Obama and the anti-American coalition were inspired to create this law after they were "disturbed" by the wait time illegals were facing until their immigration hearings. Ironically, neither the deaths in Arizona nor its Governor's pleas for help motivated Washington to do anything. Well, Washington has finally acted. And surprise, our country is much worse off than before they intervened.

The immigration overhaul has crushed the rights of states. When Arizona Governor, Jan Brewer was forced to take matters into her own hands and pass anti-immigration laws to protect citizens in her state, she was rewarded with a lawsuit from the fed. Numerous other states have passed similar laws and are just biding their time before they get slapped with a lawsuit from Washington. It's disturbing to think state tax dollars have to go to defend them against their own government!
