Instead of acknowledging that the American people do not agree with his policies, he has decided that he knows best and will continue with his own agenda - against our will. He recently issued a signing statement when he signed the 2011 budget deal passed by both Republicans and Democrats stating that he would actually NOT agree to all of the cuts and would fill the czar positions that had been defunded. This is not acceptable. Republicans and Democrats came together to find ways to cut spending that left BOTH parties unhappy, yet Obama decided that he didn't want to compromise, and thus issued a signing statement. We cannot let this continue. BOTH parties have to compromise and give up things that they want for the good of the nation. President Obama cannot simply reverse the law when he signs it in order to get his way. As a Member of Congress, you need to take action immediately to stop the White House power grab and insist this President and his administration govern by the Constitution.
