SAF Sues Eric Holder, FBI Over
Misdemeanor Gun Rights Denial

Jefferson Wayne Schrader was attending the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland in hopes of serving his country. In July 1968, Schrader, who was 21 at the time, was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and battery relating to a fight involving a man who had previously assaulted him in Annapolis. The man Schrader fought was a member of a street gang. Schrader was ordered to pay a $100 fine and $9 court cost.

Yes, I want to donate to help SAF Defend the Second Amendment!

Schrader went on to serve a tour of duty in Vietnam and was eventually honorably discharged. Unfortunately, the run-in he had with the gang member came back to haunt him. In 2008 and again in 2009, Schrader was denied the opportunity to receive a shotgun as a gift, or to purchase a handgun for personal protection. He was advised by the FBI to dispose of or surrender any firearms he might have or face criminal prosecution.

It is shocking to think Schrader, who proudly served his country, is being denied the right to defend himself. The gun hater agenda is always the same: they try to make it impossible for people to own or use their weapons so they can get one step closer to a TOTAL GUN BAN. SAF desperately needs your help to defend the Second Amendment rights of an honorable military veteran. We need to tell the anti-Constitution cooks that we won't let them take away our right to keep and bear arms!

The time is now, the decision is yours - please consider the facts and follow your conscience and help SAF defend your right to protect yourself and your family!
