RE: Please PROTECT OUR FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH BY VOTING NO TO THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT HATE CRIMES PREVENTION ACT, HR 1913

Dear [Rep.] [LAST NAME]:

I'm writing to ask you to please VOTE NO to H.R. 1913, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act. This bill will not protect pastors and teachers from prosecution in the event a hate crime is committed by someone who has heard them teach against homosexuality. This is a direct attack on our religious liberty and our freedom of speech!

H.R. 1913 will make those who speak against homosexuality and in defense of the Biblical definition of marriage subject to prosecution for "conspiracy to commit a hate crime."

As my elected representative, I expect you to accurately reflect my convictions on this matter and I will be watching your response very closely.

Sincerely,

[YOUR NAME]
